The internal quality assurance unit responsible for initiate, plan, review of courses and implement collaborative and cross disciplinary leadership to coordinate activities across the institution. The internal quality assurance monitoring the teaching and learning and research platform of all lecturer by done the trimestral Evaluation of Performance (Score card) based on the academic national recognised standard from government ANAAA. DIT internal quality assurance guarantees the process of Accreditation of study program and institute.
The areas of Evaluation Internal Quality Assurance DIT, such as:
1. The Quality of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning
The institutions curriculum as a key oriented the implementation of teaching, learning and research. The curriculum contents cover an important aspect and essential which relevant to market needs and knowledge, guaranties the high standard academic integrity to achieve the objective of academic program. Establish loading of teaching and learning, consistent with the national academic standard which compromise Synergies with the teaching and learning activities, research, and community engagement.The institution commitment to develop students’ ability of learning and encourage involvement of students in the learning process, increasing their creativity and Critical Thinking.
2. The Quality of Expected Learning Outcomes
The evaluation of curriculum should be well formulated based on the learning outcomes that able to respond the stakeholders needs. This the significant competence in the study program that will enhance students’ performance in the field work, their ability of transparency, personality, and leadership in connection with their career in labour market.
3. The Quality of Program Specification, Structure and Content
The specification of program as descriptions of the study program regarding the qualifications and academic experiences offers students to acquire skills, knowledges from the study program. The institution strives on promoting their study program to attract the public students and different respective. The evaluation of Teaching Quality and Learning will cover:
a) The Study program essential consistent with the objective and the graduate’s profile that linked to expected learning outcomes.
b) The Learning Outcomes essential relate with the subject content of the study program.
c) The content of the curriculum allied with the Expected Learning Outcomes.
d) The Evaluation Methods and Delivery system.
4. The Quality of Students and Graduates
The Internal Quality Evaluation of Teaching and Learning will cover:
a) The absorbed number of students
b) The new students’ enrolments Guidelines
c) The total number of students every academic year
d) Total students graduate in every academic year
e) The Students Grade Points Average (GPA)
f) The ratio of Enrolment and Graduates
g)Academic Students ‘Rules
5. The Human Resource Quality
The Human Resources quality will be based on the policy of selection, recruitment, placement, staff development, retention and sanction for academic staff and non-academic staff, to guarantee the quality of academic program in the study program.
6. The Quality of Infrastructure, Finance, Resources, and Information System
The Evaluation quality of resources and facilities including the availability of classroom, Library, References, ICTS, Laboratories or Practical equipment’s. The study program should actively in the planning process, management, and activities progress report. This should be available, transparent and accountability.
7. The Quality of Research, Community Engagement and Cooperation m
The institution had commitment to maintain the international reputation in the Research and continually increasing investigation. The research quality will be based on the ability of individual on conducting relevant research, related to the discipline area, funding, and involving in the external research. While the lecturer activities in community engagement also will be assess based on the standard quality applied in the CARPS. In the cooperation consider the activities of collaboration with the stakeholders from national and international institutions, Schools, and the study program to enhance the academic activities.
