School of Busienss and Management

The School of Business and Management is to prepare students for successful business related careers in organizations by fostering intellectual and personal growth, developing specific skills sets relevant to the global business community.

The School of Business and Management adopted and supports the Principles of Undergraduate Business Learning as best practice applied in many universities around the world. These principles are tailored and prioritized to the needs of a business education and reflect the intellectual competence and cultural and ethical awareness that every student, particularly a DIT business graduate should attain. School members in each discipline have been charged with determining which of the principles will be taught and assessed in each of their courses-and what graduates in that major will know and be able to do illustrate competence in each of the four areas addressed by the principles.

We place emphasis on innovative programs, experiential learning, delivered with a focus on individual learning outcomes, applied research and active engagement with external stakeholders.
