Dr. Manuel Vong is a Permanent Senior Lecturer in Tourism Management at the Dili Institute of Technology. His academic expertise lies in sustainable tourism development, diaspora tourism, and the socio-cultural dimensions of resident attitudes towards tourism growth. Through his scholarly contributions, Dr. Vong has advanced the understanding of how local communities, industry stakeholders, and residents perceive and interact with tourism development in Timor-Leste.
